Russians Hunt for Spies at Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant

Inside the hallways of Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, Russian military officers are hunting for spies among the restive Ukrainian workers.

Three weeks ago, one of the Russian soldiers who have occupied Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant since March shot a 53-year-old maintenance technician, Sergey Shvets. He was among the many workers Russians suspected of passing information to Ukraine’s defense forces to undermine the Russian occupation.
