Coronavirus LIVE updates: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Sunday said that the nationwide lockdown has been extended till May 31. Earlier, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu had extended the ongoing lockdown for another two weeks as the coronavirus cases across the country climbed to 90,927, and the death toll rose to 2,872.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Sunday announced the fifth and last set of measures as part of about Rs 20 trillion fiscal stimulus announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to support India’s economy battered by a nationwide lockdown.

Coronavirus world update: Globally, 4,733,345 people have been infected by coronavirus so far, and the total number of deaths from the disease now stands at 313,384, according to Worldometer.
